Giving Back
The feedback we have received in just a few short weeks has been outstanding. We are collaborating with major industry Climate Activists and companies, such as Youth Climate Leaders, located around the world, to Carbonbase out of Hong Kong.
We will continue to pursue partnerships and opportunities to work with experienced individuals, companies and organizations to strengthen our effort in this work that we have begun with so much vigor.
As experienced real estate investors, we are also highly cognizant of the contribution our industry makes to the environment all around us, and we want to protect and preserve it in all that we do. In 2017, the US Department of Energy estimated that approximately 39 percent of the total energy consumed in the United States came from the residential and commercial real estate sectors.
In 2020, an average US household used energy that released an estimated 21,355 lbs of CO2 – more than twice as much CO2 emissions as the average car per year. By employing our Renewable Real Estate Investing strategies, investment capital can accelerate the conversion of existing fossil fuel powered energy to clean energy. With more than 25 years of real estate investment experience on average, our team includes conservationists and experts in sustainable development/redevelopment to lead this massive opportunity and much needed business focus for Resolute.
In addition to the environmental benefits of our project, new jobs are created and the economic benefit of the surrounding community is enhanced. Resolute is also working in partnership with the Town of Manorville Municipal Board (and will do so with all Municipalities in which we work), to discuss implementation of greenification of the surroundings of the solar farm. In addition, we are in discussions with Cornell University to determine efficient solar farm array configurations to avoid land-use conflicts or spoiling precious agricultural space. We are also discussing possible dual-purpose sites and regenerative agriculture practices, including the grazing of farm animals in lieu of machines to cultivate the land underneath our solar panels.
NFTs allow us to be creative in incentivizing our partners and to offer ways to give back, both directly in our work and by our contributions.
